The Tonepoets
Brief
To create a completely new website for West Midlands based indie rock band The Tonepoets, a project given to me whilst on work placement at Gooey Creative. As their current website was insufficient, an expanded new take was required to improve the band's fan base.
Deliverables
Whilst still a work in progress, CMS-wise, I created an overhaul, a dark themed modern website from a clean slate, all that remains from the previous website is the band logo.
Harnessing the blogging power of Wordpress, the website will interact with Twitter and The Tonepoets fans, as they keep coming back to the website to hear the newest tunes and read the latest news.
Extras
jQuery based enhancements included: lightbox and music player, as well as an accordian-style tabbed feature for the band member's individual profiles.
